Türkiye and Iraq set out new oil cooperation after pipeline pact ends

• Turkish Petroleum is to acquire a 15 percent interest in the BP-run Kirkuk oilfield, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
• Iraq offered Türkiye up to 1 million barrels per day, Erdogan said, as Ankara pursued a new energy framework instead of renewing the expired pact.
